On the 30th of October 2023, an inline skating enrichment workshop was organized for the choir. We spent a delightful afternoon learning how to skate.

Participating in the inline skating program was a unique and exhilarating experience. It was a fantastic way to bond and have fun outside our usual choir practice sessions. The program not only challenged our physical abilities but also encouraged teamwork.
It was a reminder of the importance of supporting one another, just as we do in choir when harmonizing our voices. The program also taught us about persistence and determination. Many of us fell multiple times (including me..), but we got up and tried again. This resilience mirrors the persistence required to perfect our choir performances.
In addition, the experience of inline skating gave us a new perspective on our bodies and physical coordination.
Overall, the inline skating program provided an opportunity for us to bond, develop new skills, and appreciate the importance of perseverance and teamwork. It was a fun and memorable experience we will carry throughout our lives. Thanks to our teachers for arranging this program for the choir !!

It was a really fun and new experience with my choir mates! As someone who has zero experience with inline skating, this programme allowed me to learn something new.
Through the instructors, I learned how to stand up with the skates and ultimately to really skate. The process was surely difficult. Most of us had to spend a lot of time adjusting to something that we had never tried before.
For me personally, I felt that there was a lot of perseverance and hard work involved. At the start, I couldn’t even stand up. However, after a few tries, I managed to keep myself from falling and I was very proud of myself!
Learning inline skating is just like one of the many challenges in life, when we fall down, we get up and try again.
This programme definitely improved the bonds among choristers! We would care for one another when we fall and teach one another too! All of us had a great time there!
